Striker is a sorrel tovero. He was the smallest
of the
two. Ginger is a solid black bay. We did this cross again, because
the
stallion and this mare, put a real nice package together. These
foals are
stunning, big huge hips, pretty lil heads, extremely nice top line
and
nice strong forarms. They both have the best disposition ever and
love to
lick!
Since the video was taken Striker had gotten
very sick.
With the help of Dr Lee Barr, Westana Ranches, and all their
volunteers
and staff, we were able to save his life. He is now a bucket baby
as his
mom started to reject him when she realized he was sick. On May 9,
2008
Striker was sadly laid to rest. He fought very hard and I can
honestly say
he had the biggest heart I have ever seen. He is buried on our
property by
our flowering crab apple tree. He is missed dearly by all who knew him,
not just our family. He is now running pain free over the rainbow
bridge...
